TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Event Décor & Styling Services
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by THE LUXE OCCASION Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 13576985, whose registered office is 12 Northfields Prospect, Putney Bridge Road, London, United Kingdom, SW18 1PE (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By booking our services, the client (“you”, “your”) agrees to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

1.1 We provide event décor, styling, prop hire, floral styling, installation and dismantling services as agreed in writing.


1.2 Services are confirmed only once a written quotation is accepted and the required deposit is received.

2. Quotations & Bookings

2.1 All quotations are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise.


2.2 A booking is not secured until: A verbal acceptance of the quotation, and A non-refundable deposit of 50% has been paid.


2.3 We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion.

3. Payments

3.1 The balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the event date unless otherwise agreed.


3.2 Late payments may result in cancellation without refund and/or additional charges.


3.3 All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT (where applicable).

4. Damage deposit

  1. A refundable damage deposit between £100.00 - £350.00 may be required for events involving hired décor, props, furniture, styling items or bespoke installations.
  2. The damage deposit must be paid no later than 14 days prior to the event date. Failure to pay the deposit may result in cancellation of services without refund of any payments already made.
  3. The damage deposit covers loss, theft, breakage, staining, misuse or damage to hired items beyond fair wear and tear while in the care of the client, venue, guests or any third party.
  4. The client accepts full responsibility for all hired items from the time of delivery or installation until collection.
  5. If items are returned in satisfactory condition, the damage deposit will be refunded within 7–14 days following the event.
  6. Where damage, loss or excessive cleaning is identified, we reserve the right to deduct the reasonable cost of repair, replacement or cleaning from the damage deposit.
  7. If the cost of damage or loss exceeds the damage deposit, the client agrees to pay the balance within 7 days of receiving an invoice.
  8. We reserve the right to determine the extent of damage and the appropriate charges acting reasonably and in good faith.

5. Changes to Bookings

5.1 Any changes must be requested in writing.


5.2 Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.


5.3 We cannot guarantee changes requested within 14 days of the event.

6. Cancellations

6.1 All deposits are non-refundable.


6.2 If you cancel: More than 30 days before the event: deposit retained. Less than 30 days before the event: 100% of total fee payable is retained.


6.3 If we cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, liability is limited to a full refund of payments received.

7. Hire Items & Responsibility

7.1 All hired items remain the property of THE LUXE OCCASION Ltd.


7.2 You are responsible for hired items from delivery until collection.


7.3 Lost, stolen or damaged items (excluding fair wear and tear) will be charged at full replacement cost.


7.4 Items must not be moved, altered, or used for purposes other than agreed without our consent.

8. Venue & Access

8.1 You are responsible for ensuring venue access for installation and dismantling at agreed times.


8.2 Additional charges may apply for:

  • Delayed access
  • Stair access without lifts
  • Long walking distances
  • Restricted parking
8.3 We are not responsible for venue restrictions or limitations.

9. Health & Safety

9.1 We comply with all reasonable health and safety requirements.


9.2 You must inform us of any venue rules, restrictions, or safety requirements in advance.


9.3 We reserve the right to refuse installation if conditions are unsafe.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, fire, flood, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions.

11. Damage & Liability

11.1 We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss
  • Damage caused by installation
  • Damage caused by any products/ items upon installation and for the duration of the term they are with you.
  • Damage caused by guests, venue staff, or third parties
11.2 Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the services.

12. Photography & Marketing

12.1 We reserve the right to photograph our work at events.


12.2 Images may be used for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes unless you notify us in writing before the event.

13. Intellectual Property

All designs, concepts, and styling ideas remain our intellectual property and may not be replicated without written consent.

14. Complaints

14.1 Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of the event.


14.2 We will not consider complaints made after this period.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

16. Acceptance

By paying a deposit or confirming a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
